Don't be fooled by the word "basic" as there is nothing basic about this mode. The unit virtually works straight out of the box. Added bonus is the first course you play becomes your FREE GO MODE course (Course automatically upgrades to the PRO version mode with Any Point On Green feature).

Super compact little unit without all the bells and whistles of its competitors but for those who simply want to know the distance, then this is the best option. Excellent value for money for a golf gps device. Water/Weather proof and well built/durable. Easy to map your own course or download from the worlds largest database of courses for $34.99 for 100 courses.

Overall an excellent unit with the largest database of Australian Courses. Performed well in testing and built robust with colour screen and plenty of features. Would have scored better overall if the cost of ownership was lower and battery life was performed better. Still an excellent unit with lots of features.
